Waiter

Position: Waiter / Waitress Location: Mauritius Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking experienced and customer-focused Waiters/Waitresses to join our hospitality team in Mauritius. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain high standards of food and beverage service. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests and escort them to their tables. Present menus and explain menu items, promotions, and specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and drinks according to company service standards. Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction. Handle guest requests and resolve complaints professionally. Prepare and set up dining areas before service. Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave. Process bills and handle payments accurately. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area. Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service. Follow all food safety and health regulations. Requirements Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant, hotel, café, or resort. Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic English communication skills (additional languages are an advantage). Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team. Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Valid passport and willingness to relocate to Mauritius. Preferred Skills Knowledge of food and beverage service standards. Ability to handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
