Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Maintenance Technician to oversee the inspection, repair, and preventative upkeep of our fleet vehicles. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our vehicles operate at peak efficiency, meet safety regulations, and experience minimal downtime. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic abilities, experience working with diverse vehicle models, and a commitment to maintaining rigorous safety standards. Key Responsibilities Routine Maintenance & Inspection: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance services including oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and filter replacements. Diagnostics & Repairs: Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic braking system issues using advanced diagnostic scanners and tools. System Overhauls: Repair or replace malfunctioning parts, components, and systems (including engines, transmissions, steering, suspensions, and HVAC units). Fleet Safety & Compliance: Ensure all fleet vehicles comply with local transportation regulations, safety standards, and emissions laws. Documentation & Logging: Maintain precise, digital records of all inspections, parts used, repairs performed, and maintenance schedules in the fleet management system. Road Testing: Conduct post-repair test drives to verify that all mechanical and safety issues have been successfully resolved. Inventory Control: Track workshop tools and spare parts inventory, reporting shortages to ensure essential components are always in stock.
