Job Description

Job Description The Solar Power Plant Installation Technician is responsible for installing , commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar PV systems at residential, commercial, or utility-scale sites. The role involves working with electrical systems, mounting structures, and ensuring safe and efficient installation. Key Responsibilities Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems including panels, inverters, wiring, and mounting structures Assemble and install racking systems on rooftops or ground-mounted sites Perform electrical wiring, connections, and system integration Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes Conduct site assessments and prepare installation layouts Troubleshoot and repair system faults and performance issues Test installed systems and ensure proper commissioning Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory Work collaboratively with engineers Required Skills & Qualifications · ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or relevant field · Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical wiring · Ability to read technical drawings and схемatics · Familiarity with hand and power tools · Understanding of safety practices (working at heights, electrical safety) · Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors Preferred Skills · Experience in solar plant installation (rooftop or utility-scale) · Knowledge of inverters, batteries, and grid connection · Certification in solar installation (e.g., Skill Council for Green Jobs – India) · Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Salary Range ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (depending on experience and location) Additional Requirements · Valid driving license (preferred) · Willingness to travel and work flexible hours Enperience: 0 to 3 years Salary: As per Company Policy.
