Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician / Engineer Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth functioning of machines and equipment by performing preventive and breakdown maintenance. The candidate should minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of all mechanical equipment Inspect machines regularly to identify faults and wear & tear Repair or replace defective machine parts (bearings, belts, gears, etc.) Ensure proper lubrication and alignment of machinery Maintain maintenance records and logs Coordinate with production team to reduce downtime Troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively Follow safety standards and maintenance procedures Assist in installation and commissioning of new machines Ensure tools and spare parts are properly maintained Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components Hands-on experience in machine maintenance Ability to read technical drawings and manuals Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (preferred) Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Experience 1–5 years (Freshers with strong technical knowledge can also apply) Working Conditions Factory/Industrial environment Shift-based work (if required) May involve physical work and emergency breakdown handling
