Orchids The International School Position: Music Teacher Location: Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad School: Orchids The International School Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role Orchids The International School is seeking a talented and passionate Music Teacher to inspire students through music education and creative expression. The ideal candidate should be capable of teaching vocal and/or instrumental music, organizing performances, and fostering students’ interest in music across different age groups. Key Responsibilities Conduct engaging music classes for students across assigned grades Teach vocal music, rhythm, basic music theory, and/or instrumental skills Plan and execute music-related activities, competitions, and school events Prepare students for annual day performances, assemblies, and cultural programs Encourage creativity, confidence, and stage presence among students Maintain discipline and ensure an interactive classroom environment Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback Collaborate with academic staff for interdisciplinary activities and events Eligibility Criteria Bachelor’s Degree in Music or related field Certification/Training in Vocal or Instrumental Music preferred Prior teaching experience in schools is an added advantage Strong communication and presentation skills Passion for music education and student engagement Preferred Skills Vocal Training Instrumental Music Knowledge Stage Performance & Event Coordination Classroom Management Student Engagement & Creativity Communication & Interpersonal Skills Salary & Benefits Competitive salary package Growth and learning opportunities Supportive work culture Exposure to school events and extracurricular programs
