English Teacher

The PGT English Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality English language and literature instruction to senior secondary students (Grades 11–12). The role focuses on developing students’ reading, writing, analytical, and communication skills while preparing them for board examinations. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum. Teach English literature, grammar, writing skills, and comprehension. Prepare students for board examinations with a focus on answer writing and literary analysis. Design assessments, assignments, and projects to evaluate student progress. Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents. Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication. Organize and participate in literary activities (debates, elocution, drama, etc.). Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment. Keep accurate academic records and documentation. Integrate technology and modern teaching methodologies in the classroom. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events. Qualifications & Requirements: Postgraduate degree (M.A.) in English. B.Ed. degree is mandatory. Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in senior secondary classes.
