Security Guard

Job Summary We are looking for a disciplined and responsible Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our store premises, staff, customers, and assets. The candidate should maintain vigilance, prevent theft or unauthorized activities, and support smooth store operations. Key Responsibilities Monitor store premises and maintain security at entry and exit points Check customer bags and staff belongings as per company policy Prevent theft, shoplifting, and unauthorized access Maintain visitor and staff movement records if required Ensure proper opening and closing security procedures of the store Handle emergency situations calmly and inform management immediately Monitor CCTV footage and report suspicious activities Assist in crowd management during rush hours or special occasions Coordinate with store managers and other staff for safety compliance Maintain stock records including stock entry, stock transfer, and damaged stock reporting Support store operations during audits, stock verification, and inspections Assist store manager in smooth day-to-day operational activities Maintain discipline and professional behaviour at the workplace Requirements Minimum qualification: Madhyamik / Higher Secondary preferred Prior experience in security services or retail security preferred Physically fit and alert Basic communication skills in Bengali / Hindi Honest, punctual, and responsible attitude Ability to work in shifts Salary & Benefits Salary as per company norms Accommodation/Mess facility (if applicable) Weekly off and other benefits as per company policy Preferred Qualities Good observation skills Quick response during emergencies Polite behaviour with customers and staff Strong sense of responsibility and discipline
