Job Description
A Business Development Executive (BDE) drives company growth by sourcing new clients, fostering relationships, and securing strategic partnerships to increase sales and market share. They are responsible for lead generation, conducting market research, negotiating contracts, and pitching services to potential clients. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Researching and identifying new business opportunities, prospective clients, and untapped markets.
Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business.
Sales & Pitching: Delivering presentations, pitching products/services, and negotiating deals to convert prospects into active clients.
Market Research & Strategy: Analyzing competitors, market trends, and customer needs to develop actionable sales strategies.
Networking: Attending industry events, conferences, and webinars to build industry contacts.
CRM Utilization: Updating and maintaining client data and activity records in CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot
