🔑 Key Responsibilities
1. Store Operations
Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning
Maintain store hygiene, visual merchandising, and product availability

2. Sales & Business Performance
Achieve monthly sales targets, revenue, and profitability goals
Monitor footfall, conversion rates, and average billing value
Plan store-level promotions, events, and campaigns to increase sales [resources....rkable.com], [in.linkedin.com]
3. Team Management
Hire, train, and supervise store staff
Prepare shift schedules and assign responsibilities
Motivate the team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent service [indeed.com]
4. Customer Experience
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Handle customer complaints and queries efficiently

5. Inventory & Supply Management
Monitor stock levels, expiry, and freshness (critical for organic products)
Coordinate with vendors and supply chain teams

6. Financial & Reporting
Manage store P&L, expenses, and cost control
Analyze sales reports, customer trends, and performance metrics

7. Local Marketing & Community Engagement
Execute local marketing activities (events, tie-ups, promotions)
Build relationships with nearby communities and customers

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (Business / Retail / Management preferred)
3–8 years of experience in retail/store management (preferably grocery/FMCG) [naukri.com]
