Shop Staff

Key Responsibilities 1. Supervise day-to-day shop floor activities and manpower. 2. Monitor ladder fabrication, assembly, fitting, finishing, and packaging processes. 3. Ensure production targets are achieved as per planning schedules. 4. Coordinate with production, stores, procurement, and quality teams for smooth workflow. 5. Maintain production reports, job cards, and daily output records. 6. Monitor material usage and reduce wastage on the shop floor. 7. Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies. 8. Conduct quality checks during and after assemble processes. 9. Assist in inventory management of raw materials and finished goods. 10. Identify production issues and coordinate with seniors for timely resolution. 11. Maintain discipline, housekeeping, and 5S practices on the shop floor. 12. Support loading, dispatch, and installation coordination when required. Required Skills 1. Good understanding of manufacturing, assembling and production processes. 2. Ability to manage workers and shop floor activities. 3. Basic knowledge of fabrication, assembly, and industrial tools. 4. Strong coordination and communication skills. 5. Ability to maintain records and prepare production reports. 6. Problem-solving and decision-making ability. 7. Knowledge of quality and safety practices in assembling environments. Qualification 1. Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 2. Candidates with relevant manufacturing or assembling experience will be preferred. Experience 1. 1 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing or assembling, fabrication, engineering, ladder manufacturing, metal fabrication, or industrial production units. 2. Freshers with strong technical knowledge and leadership potential may also apply. Preferred Candidate Profile 1. Responsible and self-motivated. 2. Ability to handle shop floor workforce effectively. 3. Strong follow-up and execution skills. 4. Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 5. Basic computer knowledge for maintaining production records.
