Key Responsibilities Candidates will be selected to support either the Composites or Assembly track. Candidates will have the option to choose their preference while filling out the application form. Common across both tracks: Precision Work — Do detailed, careful work where alignment and finish matter. Millimetre-level accuracy, clean cable layout, correct tightness, no shortcuts Quality Focus — Check your own work at every step, point out problems early, follow checklists carefully, and keep proper build records Spotting Defects — Inspect parts for issues relevant to your track — misalignment, loose fasteners, bad crimps (Assembly) or air pockets, layer separation, dry spots, and resin-starved areas (Composites); raise issues early and help find the root cause Tools & Workstation Care — Keep your bench, jigs, fixtures, moulds, and tools clean and ready; leave the line tidy so the next shift can start without trouble Proto Support (for top performers) — Work directly with engineers on first builds, fix fitment issues and share what you learn back to production Continuous Improvement — Suggest fixes when something is slow, error-prone, or unsafe; small daily improvements add up Assembly Track: Drone Assembly — Build sub-assemblies and full aircraft following SOPs - fitting the airframe, mounting motors and ESCs, routing harnesses, placing sensors, and tightening fasteners to the right spec Electrical & Mechanical Work — Crimping, soldering, building wire harnesses, and using torque tools across the aircraft Adhesive Dispensing & Surface Prep — Comfort with using adhesive guns and doing surface prep like sanding is a strong plus Composites Track: Composites Work — Cut, place, and lay up carbon fibre and fibreglass layers into moulds as per the layup plan; work with resin systems, wet layup, and prepreg Vacuum Bagging & Curing — Set up bagging materials, breather layers, and vacuum lines; remove air pockets and hold a full vacuum without leaks; run oven and autoclave cycles from start to finish Qualifications Must-Have Excellent hand skills and a steady hand — able to work with small parts, fine wires, tight tolerances, or delicate layups without losing patience Comfort reading basic engineering drawings, parts lists, layup plans, and assembly instructions Ability to follow SOPs carefully while also speaking up when something doesn't look right Willingness to commute to or relocate near Hoskote For experienced candidates: Real hands-on experience in assembly, fabrication, or composites — through past work or vocational training Good to Have For freshers: Hands-on experience through personal projects, vocational training, or internships ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), or similar trade Past experience in drone, aerospace, EV, robotics, wind energy, marine FRP, or precision instrument manufacturing Familiarity with crimping, soldering, harness building, torque tools, adhesive dispensing, and sanding (Assembly Track) or prepreg carbon fibre, vacuum infusion, and autoclave work (Composites Track) Exposure to lean manufacturing, 5S, or production line ways of working Who You Are Cares about getting the job done thoroughly Have an eye detail work and doesn't cut corners Comfortable asking questions when unsure Can focus through long, repetitive tasks Wants to work on drones that actually fly Compensation range: 2 - 3.5 LPA (freshers), 4.5 - 5 LPA (experienced candidates) This is our estimated budget for this skillset and current market. Candidates expecting a higher CTC are encouraged to apply and share their expected CTC in the application form along with the skills and experience that justify it. Where a candidate lands within the salary range will depend on several factors including, but not limited to, skills, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, location, shift, and what the team needs.
