Job Description
Tool & Equipment Management
Oversee storage, maintenance, and distribution of tools.
Conduct regular audits of tool inventory.
Procure new tools and equipment when required.
Mould Maintenance & Repair
Plan preventive and breakdown maintenance of moulds.
Troubleshoot issues such as flashing, warpage, or dimensional deviations.
Extend mould life through polishing, lubrication, and preventive actions.
Operations Supervision
Manage CNC, EDM, VMC, grinding, milling, and welding machines.
Ensure accuracy in machining, fitting, and assembly of moulds.
Balance workloads between preventive maintenance, breakdowns, and new tool development.
Staff Leadership
Supervise, train, and evaluate toolroom staff.
Foster discipline, safety, and continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S practices).
Coordination & Compliance
Work with production teams to align tool availability with schedules.
Support quality teams during defect analysis.
Maintain documentation for ISO/IATF compliance and audits
