Verify property documents (title, ownership, approvals) Conduct due diligence before purchase or sale Draft and review: Sale agreements Lease agreements Joint development agreements Handle property registration and stamp duty matters Check land records (like Khata, EC, RTC in Karnataka) Resolve property disputes (court or settlement) Liaise with government authorities and registration offices Ensure compliance with laws like RERA 📚 Required Skills Strong knowledge of property laws and land regulations Legal drafting and documentation skills Attention to detail (very important in land matters) Negotiation and communication skills Understanding of local land systems (especially Karnataka laws) 🎓 Qualifications LLB (Bachelor of Laws) Enrollment with State Bar Council Experience in property/real estate cases (preferred) 🏢 Where They Work Real estate companies Law firms Independent legal practice Construction/development companies 💼 Why Important (Especially for You) Avoid fraud land deals Check clear title Handle agreements safely
