Shopify Web Developer Job Overview We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Shopify Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building Shopify stores from scratch, customizing themes, integrating third-party tools, optimizing performance, and maintaining a seamless e-commerce experience. The candidate should possess strong frontend development skills and a deep understanding of Shopify’s ecosystem. Roles & Responsibilities - Develop and launch Shopify websites from scratch based on business requirements. - Customize and modify Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs. - Build responsive, mobile-friendly, and user-focused e-commerce websites. - Configure Shopify settings including products, collections, shipping, taxes, discounts, and checkout settings. - Integrate and manage payment gateways, shipping partners, and third-party applications. - Implement and manage analytics tools such as: - Google Analytics (GA4) - Google Tag Manager (GTM) - Meta Pixel - Conversion tracking - Event tracking - E-commerce analytics setup - Optimize website speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals. - Conduct debugging and troubleshoot frontend/backend issues. - Monitor website performance and identify bottlenecks. - Implement SEO best practices on Shopify websites. - Maintain website security and ensure proper implementation of Shopify standards. - Coordinate with designers, marketers, and business teams to implement website changes. - Perform regular maintenance, updates, and quality checks. - Test websites across browsers and devices for consistency. - Create reusable sections, templates, and components. - Handle website migrations and data imports when needed. - Ensure smooth app integrations and compatibility. - Maintain documentation for development processes and implementations.
