Job Title: Tailor (Mattress & Sofa Covers) Company: Amba Enterprise Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 (In-hand) Experience: Fresher / Entry-Level Qualification: Below 10th / Basic Education Job Overview: Amba Enterprise is looking for a skilled and dedicated Tailor to join our team. The role involves stitching mattresses, sofa covers, and related upholstery items with precision and consistency. This is a hands-on role suited for individuals who are detail-oriented and eager to grow in the home furnishing and mattress manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities: • Stitch mattress covers, sofa covers, cushions, and related upholstery products • Cut fabric accurately as per given measurements and patterns • Handle different types of fabrics (foam covers, knitted fabric, quilted material, etc.) • Operate sewing machines efficiently (single needle, overlock, etc.) • Ensure neat finishing, strong stitching, and product durability • Assist in sample development and product customization • Coordinate with the production team for timely output • Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of tools and machines R quired Skills: • Basic knowledge of stitching and tailoring • Ability to handle industrial Shewing machines • Handling of fabric cutting and measurement Attention to detail and finishing quality •Basic knowledge of mattress or sofa cover stitching (preferred but not mandatory) Skills in piping, zipper fitting, and panel joining.
