Fashion Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities: Product Development: Coordinate with designers and buyers on new styles, fabrics, and trims; manage sample development and approvals. Costing & Order Management: Prepare cost sheets, finalize prices with buyers/vendors, and confirm orders. Production Coordination: Follow up with factories for fabric sourcing, production tracking, and quality checks. Buyer Communication: Serve as the main contact for buyers on order updates, approvals, and feedback. Quality & Delivery: Ensure production meets quality standards and delivery deadlines; coordinate shipment schedules and documentation. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of samples, orders, production status, and shipment details. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, or Apparel Merchandising. 4–8 years of experience in apparel merchandising. Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and production processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and merchandising tools/software.
