A Food Delivery professional is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting meals from restaurants or ghost kitchens to customers. Key duties include navigating routes, maintaining food temperature and quality, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service. Core Responsibilities Order Fulfillment: Pick up food orders from restaurants and verify order accuracy before departure. Navigation: Utilize GPS and mapping tools to plan efficient routes, maneuver through heavy traffic, and ensure timely delivery. Customer Service: Deliver meals in a courteous, professional manner. Address any customer inquiries or complaints on-site. Payment Processing: Accurately handle cash payments, digital transfers, and tips while maintaining transaction logs. Food Safety: Ensure food items are kept at the correct temperature (hot or cold) and handled in a sanitary, secure manner. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular checks on the delivery vehicle (car, bike, or scooter) to ensure it is roadworthy, fueled, and functioning properly. Key Requirements & Skills License: A valid driver's license (or relevant license for operating a two-wheeler) and a clean driving record. Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle or bicycle depending on the position requirements. Time Management: Strong ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple deliveries during peak hours. Physical Stamina: Capability to withstand long hours on the road, navigate various weather conditions, and occasionally carry insulated food bags.
