Job Description
Prepare a variety of South Indian dishes such as idli, dosa, vada, uttapam, pongal, upma, sambar, rasam, chutneys, and South Indian meals.
Follow standardized recipes and portion-control guidelines.
Ensure food is prepared, cooked, and served in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to food safety standards.
Monitor food inventory and report shortages to the supervisor.
Store ingredients properly to maintain freshness and quality.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes when required.
Minimize food waste and control kitchen costs.
