Proofreader – Job Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Proofreader to review and correct written content before publication. The candidate should have excellent grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting knowledge with strong attention to detail. Roles & Responsibilities Review and edit documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure. Ensure content is clear, consistent, and error-free. Check formatting, alignment, and overall document presentation. Verify facts, dates, names, and references when required. Maintain brand tone and writing style consistency. Coordinate with writers, editors, and content teams for corrections. Ensure final content is publication-ready within deadlines. Required Skills Excellent English communication and writing skills. Strong knowledge of grammar and proofreading techniques. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Familiarity with MS Word, Google Docs, and editing tools. Good time management and organizational skills. Qualification Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field preferred. Previous proofreading/editing experience is an advantage. Job Type Full-time Experience 1 to 3 years Preferred Candidate Detail-oriented and patient. Strong reading and comprehension skills.
