Job Description – Purchase Manager Position: Purchase Manager Department: Procurement & Inventory Management Role Overview- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee procurement operations, vendor management, and inventory tracking. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation skills, excellent vendor relationship management capabilities, and advanced Excel proficiency to ensure efficient purchasing and inventory control. Key Responsibilities Vendor Management Maintain a comprehensive database of all approved vendors and suppliers. Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with existing and new vendors. Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and service standards. Source and onboard new vendors to optimize procurement efficiency and cost savings. Procurement & Purchasing Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate favorable commercial terms. Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and consumables as per project and operational requirements. Coordinate with internal teams to understand material requirements and procurement schedules. Expedite urgent purchases and ensure quick turnaround for critical requirements. Inventory Management Maintain accurate records of all inventory items. Track stock levels, consumption patterns, reorder points, and material movements. Ensure adequate inventory availability while minimizing excess stock.
