Junior Accountant

Job Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in day-to-day accounting activities. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in accounting and looking to grow in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers. Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports. Reconcile bank statements and company accounts. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Assist in preparing financial reports and statements. Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Handle data entry and maintain proper documentation of financial transactions. Assist with audits and tax filings as required. Qualifications and Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com preferred). Experience: 0–1 years of experience in accounting or a similar role. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar). Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
