Accountant – Jewellery Shop Location: Chennai Experience: Minimum 2 Years Salary: As per industry standards Job Responsibilities: Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain financial records Manage billing, invoices, receipts, and payment entries Maintain purchase and sales records of gold, silver, and jewellery items Prepare GST, TDS, and other tax-related documentation Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow Maintain stock and inventory records along with accounts Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with financial regulations Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports Handle vendor payments and customer account details Ensure accuracy in accounting data and documentation Required Skills: Knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software Basic understanding of GST and taxation Good numerical and analytical skills Attention to detail and accuracy Experience in jewellery industry preferred Qualification: B.Com / M.Com or relevant accounting qualification
